Murals and trompe l’oiel, the art of painting to trick the viewer into believing that what is painted is actually real, was all the rage in the 90s. Here are a couple of archive examples. And I could tell you many a yarn about my experiences painting them; from butlers and berets to being elevated in a cage of a fork lift truck. Fun.
